• Dr. Taber gave a talk at the Society of Behavioral Medicine, 2019 in Washington, D.C. 

  • Life expectancy estimates among hospice patients are characterized by uncertainty and infrequently based on provider estimates. This talk is part of the symposium “Insights into illness understanding and end-of-life decision making among patients with advanced disease” with speakers Amy Otto, Kelly Trevino, and Megan Shen and discussant Sylvia Chou.​

  • She also chaired the symposium: Boundary Conditions of Theory-Driven Health Behavior Change Interventions with speakers Michael Bultmann, Rebecca Ferrer, and Marc Kiviniemi, and discussant Alex Rothman. ​

• Nicolle Simonovic gave a talk on "Aversion to Conflicting Medical Opinions: Associations with Behavior, Cognitions, and Affect" at the 2nd annual HINTS conference in Rockville, MD. in May, 2019.
